Handmade in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by Fair Trade policies, this small, round market basket from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana is very sturdy and beautiful!

This small round basket is woven with twisted elephant grass, dyed with colorfast dyes, and has a leather-covered handle.

It features a beautiful navy blue, magenta, orange, teal and natural colored pattern.

This basket can be returned to its original shape by getting it wet, gently reshaping it, and letting it dry.

Approximately 9.5" in diameter, and 6" high (not counting leather-covered handle).
