Handmade in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by Fair Trade policies, these baskets from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana are virtually indestructible and easy to carry.
This orange,brown and natural colored basket looks perfect sitting on the table holding bread or fruit. It is also great for collecting mail, holding a small craft project, or carrying veggies in from the garden!
The basket is woven with twisted elephant grass, dyed with colorfast dyes, and has a single leather handle.
It can be returned to its original shape by getting it wet, gently reshaping it, and letting it dry.
Size is approximately 14" long, 9.5" wide, and 6.5" high (not counting leather-covered handle.)
