This assorted pack of South African Shweshwe fabric contains six (18"x 19.5") pieces in white on black. The six different patterns included are chosen at random and will likely differ from the ones pictured. Perfect gift for quilters or crafters!
Three Cats shweshwe fabric by Da Gama Textiles in South Africa is 100% cotton. The fabric is first dyed black, next the white design is chemically discharged with copper rollers, then the fabric is starched as it has been done since its origins in Europe. The fabric has the Three Cats logo discharged on the back. Starch washes out with machine washing (including starch lines that may appear where unwashed fabric is creased).
Shrinkage is up to 10%.
Wash separately, cold to warm.
Do not bleach
Do not dry clean.
Tumble drying not recommended by the manufacturer.
