Moroccan Orthoceras Tower #002

This Moroccan Orthoceras tower comes from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco near the town of Rissani.
The Orthoceras tower is skillfully handcrafted to show off several polished Orthoceras fossil embedded within a dark rock matrix.
 
The Orthoceras was a long squid-like creature that lived approximately 400 Million years ago   in the Silurian age  in the seas that now make up the Moroccan mountains.
 
The matrix measures 8"1/2 High  2"1/2 Wide and 3" Deep.
