Moroccan Fossil Bookend Set #1
This Moroccan Trilobite bookend set comes from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco near the town of Rissani.
Each side of this bookend set display a Trilobite fossil remains embedded in the surrounding matrix of beige rock matrix assembled on a crafted solid block of dark stone.
The Trilobite (Flexicalymene sp) is a member of a well-known fossil group of extinct marine arthropods that lived approximately 380 million years old all over the world. This one also comes from the same Moroccan mountains.
