Mali necklace #06

This necklace is made from from recycled shoes! A few years ago the women in Djenne Mali discovered  how to heat the plastic from broken plastic shoes and make jewelry components. This necklace has multicolored plastic pieces divided by multicolored beads. Close with a traditional loop clasp. Created by Master Jeweler Oumar Cisse from Mali. Each necklace is unique  so the order of the colored beads may vary.

The necklace is approximately 18" in circumference.
