Mali necklace #036

This necklace is made from recycled shoes! A few years ago the women in Djenne Mali discovered how to heat the plastic from broken plastic shoes and make jewelry components. Closes with a traditional leather loop clasp. This beautiful necklace features mauve and white striped layers with swirled silver and and white details as well as a red, white and blue beaded loop.
The necklace is approximately 20" in circumference.
