Binga baskets were originally woven as winnowing baskets and are still used for that purpose today by Tonga women in Zimbabwe. The baskets are woven with grass, vines and palm fronds, and is dyed with natural dyes.
These baskets make wonderful wall decorations, as they are lightweight and easy to mount. They can also be used to hold bread or fruit in your kitchen, or even remote controls near your TV.
