Moroccan Orthoceras Tray #003
This Moroccan Orthoceras comes from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco near the town of Rissani.
This is a polished Orthoceras fossil tray within the dark rock matrix which includes a couple of small Ammonites.
The Orthoceras was a long squid-like creature that lived approximately 400 Million years ago in the Silurian age in the seas that now make up the Moroccan mountains.
