Traditionally, the weavers in Thies, Senegal made baskets from coiled grass and split palm fronds.

This basket is produced in Dakar, Senegal and is made with coiled grass and left over plastic tubing too short to be woven into mats.

This open, round, grass basket comes straight from the weavers in Senegal.

It features beautiful red, black and natural colors.

The size is approximately 18.5" in diameter and 4.5" high.
