Market baskets from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana are virtually indestructible comfortable to carry and beautiful to boot! They are hand made by rural women's cooperatives and purchased using fair trade policies

This oval basket has two leather handles and is easy to carry around the house or take to town. It will hold your favorite craft project accompany you to the beach or collect your magazines.

The basket is woven with twisted elephant grass dyed with colorfast dyes and has a leather handle. The basket can be returned to its original shape by getting it wet gently reshaping it and letting it dry.
 
Our Ghana totes are approximately 16.5" long 11" high and 8.5" wide (not counting the handles).
