Ghana Gambibgo Pot Basket #030

Hand made in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by fair trade policies baskets from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana are very robust comfortable to carry and beautiful to boot!  

This Gambibgo pot-shaped basket is beautiful enough for decoration but it is sturdy enough for many different uses!  

This basket is woven with twisted elephant grass dyed with colorfast dyes and has a pivoting leather handle. If necessary the basket can be returned to its original shape by getting it wet gently reshaping it and letting it dry.

This multicolored basket is approximately 15" in diameter at its widest and 11" high (plus handle).
