Hand made in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by Fair Trade policies. This basket from the Bolgatanga region is woven with the abundant Vetavera (elephant) grass a sustainable and environmental friendly raw material and is useful durable and easy to carry.

This oval basket has two leather handles and is easy to carry around the house or take to town. It will hold your favorite craft project accompany you to the beach or collect your magazines. 

The basket is woven with twisted elephant grass dyed with colorfast dyes and has a leather handle. The basket can be returned to its original shape by getting it wet gently reshaping it and letting it dry.

This Ghana tote is approximately 16.5" long 11" high and 8.5" wide (not counting the handles).
