Ghana U Shopper Basket #74

Handmade in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by Fair Trade policies, these market baskets from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana are very robust, comfortable to carry, and beautiful to boot! 

This "U Shopper" is easy to carry around the house or around town. It will hold your favorite craft project, accompany you to the market, or collect your magazines. 

This basket is woven with twisted elephant grass, dyed with colorfast dyes, and has two leather handles.

It features a beautiful orange, magenta, sage green, light green, and natural colored pattern with black handles.

You can return this basket to its original shape it by getting it wet, gently reshaping it, and letting it dry. 

This "U Shopper" is approximately 18" across, 12" high (at bottom of handles), and 10.5" deep.
