Handmade in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by Fair Trade policies, this open, weaved, shoulder satchel from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana is woven with the abundant Vetavera (elephant) grass - a sustainable and environmentally friendly raw material - is dyed with colorfast dyes, has two leather-covered handles, and a leather loop and knob closure at the top of the bag.
This satchel is gorgeous and durable. Its rolled and stitched leather shoulder straps make it easy to carry everywhere with you.
It features a dark purple, yellow, orange, red, and teal colored pattern.
