Ghana Gambibgo Oval Basket #045

Handmade in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by Fair Trade policies, baskets from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana are very robust, comfortable to carry, and beautiful to boot!  

This Gambibgo pot-shaped basket makes a beautiful decoration, and is also sturdy enough for many different uses!  

This basket is woven with twisted elephant grass, dyed with colorfast dyes, and has a pivoting leather handle. If necessary, the basket can be returned to its original shape by getting it wet, gently reshaping it, and letting it dry.

It features a beautiful army green, navy blue, hot pink, blue and natural colored pattern.

This basket is approximately 24.5" long, 12" wide, and 12" high (not counting leather-covered handles).
