Ghana Fruit Tray #017

Handmade in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by Fair Trade policies, this fruit tray from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana is sturdy, light, and naturally shiny. 

Unlike the typical Bolgatanga basket, the colorfast-dyed grass stems used to weave this basket have not been twisted, giving the basket a shiny look.

This fruit tray is a coil weave, producing a thicker-walled basket than most from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana.

This basket can be washed with water if it needed.

The size is approximately 13.5" in diameter and shallow.
