We present you here a large choice of fossils found in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, near the town of Rissani.
- The Ammonites were some of the most notorious ancient sea creatures. They inhabited the seas during the Denovian period (350 million years ago).
- The Trilobite (Flexicalymene sp) is a member of a well-known fossil group of extinct marine arthropods that lived approximately 380 million years old all over the world.
- The Orthoceras was a long squid-like creature that lived approximately 400 Million years ago, in the Silurian age, in the seas that now make up the Moroccan mountains.
Those fossils are presented by themselves, or skillfully handcrafted to show off the fossils within a rock matrix, as a decorative stand, plate or shape.
