Since 2000 French Connections has provided the Chatham County, North Carolina, area with a unique variety of French antiques, African art, and a large selection of imported fabrics from France and  West Africa. Our yard art from Mexico is also a big draw, offering a whimsical way to add color to any yard or garden.

Located in the historic Thompson House (1900), in downtown Pittsboro, our building’s nostalgic atmosphere provides a charming backdrop for the unique treasures we’ve packed into every nook and cranny.

Our merchandise is a reflection of the places we have lived and visited and the wonderful people we have met along the way. We are thrilled to bring our customers a taste of Normandy, Provence, Senegal, South Africa and so many other places through the high quality products we continually procure from artists, small manufacturers, and personal contacts.

Shipping & Terms and Conditions

We welcome United States and International orders. We ship via USPS and UPS Home delivery. Shipping is based on purchase value, with FREE SHIPPING on US orders greater than $60. International shipping rates are estimated. We charge actual shipping charges and will refund prepaid amounts or bill you accordingly.

Returns must be have prior approval by phone or email. No returns will be accepted after 21 days. Shipping charges are not refundable if the order is returned.  

Fabric yardage is returnable with a 10% restocking fee. Fabric that has been washed, cut, or altered in any way is not returnable. Note: fabrics may have a finish that has a slight odor. We do not accept returns of fabric because of smell.

If we make a mistake in your order, please contact us so we can correct our error! We want all of our customers to be happy with their purchases.
