This gorgeous, multicolored, double-woven Gambibgo tote from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana is large, beautiful, and very sturdy. Moreover, the handles are long enough to carry this under your arm (as long as it's not too full)! This basket is handmade in Ghana by a rural women's cooperative guided by Fair Trade policies, and presents a beautifully tight weave. Made with twisted elephant grass, this basket is dyed with colorfast dyes and has two leather handles.
This tote can be returned to its original shape by getting it wet, gently reshaping it, and letting it dry.
Approximately 19" across, 9.5" wide, and 9" high (not counting leather-covered handles). Colors include teal, green, and orange.
